This is a great place to hold events. The area outside holds almost 60 people with plenty of spaces. The area is open but gives you a private setting. On weekends this place is not so packed. their catered food is good. They have skewers, burgers, fish and chips and meatballs. I absolutely love the lamb skewers and the fish and chips. There is a bar where you can get your drinks. The indoor setting has a stage which may be good if you are planning to have a program or presentation. The hotel has plenty if parking and is walking distance from parramatta station. I will definitely recommend this place for private and corporate functions.

Good looking pub with a variety of new and old style tap beers. Starts to get crowded mid afternoon with the post work crowd. Can imagine the vibe would not be great in the evening as per many reviews due to aggressive security on a power trip. Good for arvo drinks though.

Food here used to be great now it's just done down hill and is well behind The Commercial, also the drinks are quite pricey what doesn't help matters. I hope it comes back to what It used to be. You would think prices would be lower in order to attract people back after the place was shot at not that long ago.

We tried to enter this pub on Australia Day & were refused entry by security due to one of our (female) friends wearing thongs. ON AUSTRALIA DAY! We then decided to go to an Arabic Restaurant (a rather upmarket establishment, I might add!) on our way home & guess what? We were allowed in - thongs & all! Local Pub on STRAYA DAY - no entry due to thongs. Upmarket Arab Restaurant - "Please, by all means, dine here!" Go figure...

I spent most of my time outside but they had mist-fans on a hot day, the staff seemed friendly and the food was good. They have the buzzer things for when your food is ready, like so many places nowadays. They have parking out back if you are a patron, otherwise it is a 10 minute walk to the train station. The prices are on the higher side, comparable with city prices, but I suppose Parramatta has become it's own mini-CBD so it makes sense that the prices would reflect that. I was there on a lazy Sunday afternoon so I can't speak for the nightlife, but it's good for a day out with family and there's a park opposite if you want to have the kids have a runaround afterwards to work off all that food :)
