Booked return trip Cairns airport to Port Douglas in a package, Flight, hotel, transfers. Pick up from airport to P Douglas was OK. The return journey had to be confirmed 24 hours prior to travel, it was only then we found out the pick up time for the return journey was 10:15 AM our flight was not until 2:40 PM When we tried to change to a later pick up we were told this was not possible. we got to airport 11:15 over 3 hours before our flight. Not fun!

Our travel agent booked a return trip. For the trip from the airport into Cairns city, the driver arrived half an hour after our flight got in. Neither she nor the woman at their office seemed to think this was a concern! The driver has trouble lifting our luggage and left it upright so that it fell during the trip - she had trouble getting the back door closed too. She was a good enough driver, though, and the van was in good shape.  For our trip back to the airport, the driver was on time at our hotel with none of the previous issues. The office was insistent on us calling the day before to confirm as opposed to a few days before, though, which was frustrating as we were booked on a day trip.
