This lounge is consistently clean with great staff and the food is the usual Koru menu depending on time of day. Its always fresh with a good wine selection and well laid out with various seating options for relaxing, watching the runway or working. The only thing I wish Air NZ would do in all their lounges is keep their cheese & onion sandwiches on the menu. These are "the BEST"
Good coffee. When I orderef a hot chocolate for my daughter, a very nice barista write my name on it, my daughter was so happy when she saw it. A very good open view with good selection of drinks. Food range is much smaller than Auckland Domestic lounge or international lounge
Turned up early to try to get on an earlier flight... 4:31pm as I have a 9pm flight. Could not change my flight, older lady at ticket counter said" No need to check flights, I know they are all sold out, no need to check system" and .. OK so went to check in bags. A couple ahead of me in the line, were then offered 2 seats on the 6pm flight... So I went back to Kath and asked why the couple sere offered seats ahead of me.. So kept typing at her computer even though she was at the ticket desk... She replied, " I didn't think there were any seats available" and actually checked the system... But the couple had taken the last 2 seats. ... so I check bags in and went to the lounge. Then went to Koru lounge to check in and I am 29 mins before allowance to gain access to lounge, I was told by another older lady, there was no room, as no available seats... I'll load a pic shortly, but there was plenty of seats available.. Empty.. She made her assistant go and check.. But we could all clearly see... I did give her my previous story from check in.. and asked if there was a possibility of her being kind and letting me in, in lieu of my ticket saga.. Then the couple who got on the 6pm flight walked in past me.... I am wondering if I am in an episode of black mirror and I am on a reality TV show.. Over 20 people have walked out of the lounge while I wait my 29 mins.... Chch is cold and harsh as an environment.. I find my Air NZ/ Koru experience very similar.. I hope the food is marginal at best.. At least the beer will be cold. Thank you and good night...
Amazing lounge, located at international departure after security check and nearby the duty free. I wasn’t expected a nice lounge at this small airport but this is really surprising me. It’s worthy to walk in to lounge earlier instead spend time at duty free. The food here is really tasty, you will be all good in this lounge and don’t need to look around for food.
We get free passes with our credit card. It's a nice quite space to have some food and drink b4 your flight. All our flights on air new Zealand have either been canceled or delayed multiple times. Having a comfortable place to wait it nice. It would also be nice to be able to speak to an actual human, on the phone or online, it would be great if the phone actually rang. But that's not the lounges fault
Good lounge, clean, plenty of food options, good coffee too.
A nice, well kept lounge tucked slightly away from the busy boarding date areas. There are plenty of seating options and of different types. They always seem to be well staffed with tables cleared quickly and dishes collected.
Impressive engineering construction and gardens allows a warm welcome to overseas visitors and fellow kiwi's alike. The services provided were worthy during these current times given that the airline industry is on a rebuilding and confidence based role. I was impressed with the Koru Lounge as a new customer and found the staff dedicated to ensuring that the customer had continued array of menu's to choose from.
Completely empty at 7am but crowded at 6pm.
Favorite Kora lounge in NZ. Friendly staff loads of room although gets close to capacity at peak hours. Food is great and the staff cleaning plates always do a great job and offer polite chitchat which is nice.
