I fear that these guys are not aware that the internet is their enemy, and that they will have to have exceptional customer service to compete. I went to buy a part for my bike, and needed a fairly simple identification. Was told I'd need to leave my bike for a day for them to look at it because "they aren't about to drop everything to look at it now". After 30 minutes on the internet I identified the part I needed. I'll buy it online and will fit it myself. I'm sorry the LBS is having a hard time competing with the internet, but it's a fact of life. You guys have to give superlative customer service or the customer (like me) will walk. I do around 20,000km/year. I wear through parts all the time. You could have had regular service and spare parts work, but you 'weren't going to drop everything' A quick I.D. job is NOT 'drop everything', it's 10 or 15 minutes customer service. On a side note, I'm still waiting for my return phone call for the wheel build I wanted quoted up from 6 months ago. Sorry guys - you'll probably not be around for long.

Caveat Emptor I Rang and asked if a particular bike was in stock and available . The answer was yes , so after a 40 minute drive to the shop the staff member tried to up sell me to a more expensive model. I insisted i was there to pick up the one i discussed with him previously on the phone and was there to arrange customer pickup . Full price no discounts here let me tell you ! I was then told that i would have to wait about 1.5 hours to have the bike assembled . I walked ! I then i called Blackamans Cycles At Parramatta whom had the bike i wanted with a free helmet included and available in stock on the floor . So i can thank ABC bikes for getting me a great deal ! Thanks again guys i am really happy you gave me the opportunity to meet the crew at Blackmans Cycles for a great deal

Superb service and great advice. Kerry and Tony are genuinely interested in helping new and experienced cyclists alike. Best bike shop in the area by a long shot.

I've tried many bike shops and I can't fault these guys. Every time I come in they help me out straight away. I get my bike serviced here and have never had any dramas. Thank you!
