Drag bingo? Who knew that was a thing? It was great fun. I was so privileged to meet the beautiful and funny Medulla Oblongata. They host different events every night like drag bingo, quiz nights, comedy nights, etc. They were very friendly and accommodating

Very quaint little bar. Inclusive, and friendly atmosphere. It feels very rustic in a homey sort of way. The service is incredible too. Delightful staff that make tasty drinks. Definitely a bar I'd go to again. I'd highly recommend visiting.

Absolute gem of a bar! Zack is so fun and welcoming, he also really knows his beer! Great tap list and very reasonably priced for Auckland. Drag bingo was wild in the best way, can’t wait to go again.

Fantastic small bar with Staff so friendly it made me feel at home. Traveling to NZ from Australia with the girlfriend it was a fantastic feeling to be greeted so warmly by the staff, exceptional service with proper engaged conversation! The owners of this place are doing it right with a strong customer service focus, the service was well worth the $50 whiskey I bought, YUM! Great range of spirits I was particularly fond of the show I was presented when ordering the "colour changing gin" give it a go, seriously spectacular All and all nothing to fault here, great staff even had a great interaction with one of the patrons. Me and my girlfriend left in high spirits literally xD and it was a great way to start on our adventures. Highly highly recommend, Thank you Zack's Bar!

The bar itself is quite small but comfortable, but can be a bit loud. The bar staff seemed a bit bristled and quite honestly not very helpful with the beer selection. As far as the beers, the selection was average with a few craft beers on tap. Overall we found them to be well overpriced for a pint.

First time in over the weekend and it was a great vibe. The decor is nice and the bar tenders are always up for a good chat. That outdoor/indoor smoking area is cool and the food is great too. Nachos are definitely a go. Thanks guys

Best spot in Parnell. If you’re looking for a good humble pub in an otherwise upmarket swanky district these guys are it. They have dim lighting, good music, all the usual tipples, and decent prices/portions. Live comedy, music and quiz nights. A super friendly and welcoming family run operation! Super stoked these guys exist in my neighbourhood.

Seriously good bar. Lots of live music. Warm, accommodating, special seat available for well trained dogs. Some time ago I'd finished my shift and bumped into a guy who was "looking for a bar". Sent him in Zacks way and by all accounts every one was a winner.
