Went here with partner on last Saturday late morning. The ambiance was awesome, if you are the one not liking outdoor dining but definitely like sunshine this must be a right spot. Floor to ceiling windows creat an decent atmosphere, take couple of portraits with special hanging plants can be a nice option when you waiting for food. As Cali is located at Newmarket central, sometimes it could be kiosks. However staffs are friendly and calm,you will be seated just in a second. I ordered smoked salmon ,it was great since the special dipping sauce was moisturizing the whole piece of salmon. Price is reasonable because of the quality of the service and food.

Loved our prawn linguine & chicken burger. A lot of thought had gone into the pasta dish with unexpected flavor combinations. The service was exceptional too and just the right amount of food!

Awesome food and top notch service. You can tell a lot of thought had gone into their plating as well. The dish portions are perfectly sized so you have room for a three course meal. Let with a big smile on our faces. The staff are great and lovely to deal with.

Been this place twice. Nice atmosphere, staffs are really friendly. Food is always great! Recommend their burgers and mushroom pizzas Floor was a bit of mess but I guess it's bc the restaurant is always packed with people. Coffee is also great

The food is incredibly healthy well presented and yummy Bircher muesli and scrambled eggs. But no cream. Because I am naughty and they are not Three years later it is the first place I have ventured to since lock down has ended. Took my mother for lunch. Very nice still five stars. The staff were pleasant and helpful the registering system was easy. The food was very good and the coffee is LAFarre which I like. Main lunch was $20 so $$. 1 August 2020 Post COVID visit and the place is till serving good coffee and food. A new addition is the table salt which my mother would love as the usual is some sought of cracked salt which lodged under her dentures. So well done Cali. Usually when we ask for table salt most waiters do not know what we are asking for.

always had food and service in a better standard here. and it open all day. we came there around 4pm, most cafes has closed already. and we just get a soft shell crab and a smoothie. both are nice. dinner menu is a bit smaller than lunch.

Lovely atmosphere and ambience! Had there pour over coffee, wasn’t great because it’s not designed to be a coffee shop. They served this delicate drink in a mug and a plate that doesn’t even fit ... needs a better presentation for the coffee sorry. Sure the food would be better.

Went here for breakfast and had the meat breakfast bowl. It was okay. The eggs were nicely cooked, hash, tomato, bacon and sausage we're all pretty spot on. The bread was absolutely dripping with fat and fairly unpleasant as a result. The most disappointing part was the "raw salad". There's nothing worse than when a cafe serves a "salad" and presents you with a handful of supermarket mesclun mix coated in a bit of oil and vinegar. Sorry, but that's not a salad, it's at best a bit of decoration.

Cocktails were presented well and tasted great too! Have excellent non-alcoholic options as well. Went with a group and was served a cold meats platter which was very fresh, tasty and more than enough for our group of 6-8 people.

A very cozy and spacious place with high ceilings, lots of light, nice food and great ambient. Coffee can slightly be improved, but overall a nice place to relax and grab a bite, while enjoying the free Wi-Fi especially in the corner sofa seats area.
