Z - Broadway - Service Station

It is possible for Service Station to be a disgrace to NZ? Somehow this one is!!nnThis is the closest station, right next to the international airport, so they are praying on tourists leaving NZ, with a $200nz pre-payment charge on a credit card at the pump, to get fuel. But you have no way of knowing that, Not sure a ripped sticker does the job.nnAs a kiwi I'm embarrassed this exists

If I could give them zero I would- NO SIGN anywhere on the pump or outside the service station to advise that they will hold 200 off your card when swiping international cards on their new prepaid pumps- they force you to prepay- force you to use a credit card as their pump wouldn’t accept a debit card- wouldn’t take cash. I attended at 12.30 on Sunday 22 June - so I hope the company can review who was rostered as ALL the staff were rude - totally unhelpful - wouldn’t take any responsibility- they refused to even give me their names and shrugged when I told them I would have difficulty flying internationally with 200 dollars taken off my card- they do not care whatsoever- your company is breaking the law by not displaying signs advising you will hold people’s money- this practice is absolutely disgusting and if I had of known i would have gone to a totally different petrol station.

This place would have to be the worst servo I've ever used and that takes some doing. Poor customer service - the 2 clowns serving are in need of training. Pricing was on the high side but whole set-up is archaic,nWellington airport needs to sort out a petrol station near them as this is bad look for tourists - truly awful.
