Dear Yogi Ji Petone Management,nnI am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I received today.nnI am a regular customer and spend more than $1,000 at your store every month. Two days ago, I called the store regarding a packet of Kashmiri Chilli Powder that I purchased from your store. I believe the product is faulty because it is extremely hot and does not taste like Kashmiri chilli powder. I was asked to bring it to the store for inspection.nnWhen I visited today, I was treated very rudely by a staff member who I believe is the Assistant Manager. Instead of listening to my concern, he argued with me and insisted that there was nothing wrong with the product. When I requested a written statement confirming that the Kashmiri chilli powder was normal, he refused. He also told me that I could “go anywhere” if I was not happy.nnI was not asking for a refund or a discount. I only wanted my concern to be taken seriously and handled professionally. As someone who works in hospitality, I understand the importance of good customer service, and I found this experience very disappointing.nnI am attaching photos of the Kashmiri chilli powder purchased from your store, along with photos of Kashmiri chilli powder that I purchased from another store for comparison. The colour and quality are clearly different, which is why I raised this concern.nnI left the product at the counter because I did not want the situation to become worse.nnI kindly request that you investigate this matter and provide your staff, especially the Assistant Manager, with better customer service training. Customers should be treated with respect and their concerns should be handled professionally.nnUnfortunately, because of this experience, I will no longer shop at your Petone store. My wife is indian. And we both love indian food. But whenever we get stuff from this store. It has always been something. Last time we bought some grain which had insects in it and also she bought 10 kg onion from there and half of them are really really bad. I have to waste all and those onion left such a bed smell in my house. This is so terrible.

I recently visited an Indian supermarket and was impressed with the overall experience. The store was well-organized and had a wide variety of products. However, what really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by a staff boy in specs. He was knowledgeable about the products and went out of his way to assist me in finding what I needed. His friendly demeanor and willingness to help made my shopping experience all the more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this supermarket to anyone in the area.

Great medium sized Indian food shop with a wide selection of goods. Handy to SH2 but beware, the dedicated parking spaces can be in high demand at peak times. Good prices plus they have some fresh vegetables and Indian sweet treats. My favourite in Wellington!

Atmosphere was not decent but goods seemed very comprehensive, especially for the spices. My husband and I found their vegetables not very good quality even though they had cheap prices tagged. It's a small place to shop but if you are interested in buying spices, I would recommend this shop. Otherwise, mornibg market is better.
