Racial profiling by security.nThis is the second time I have been followed down every aisle I walked down by the security. He was nice enough to smile and I do appreciate that he was just doing his job but I can't think of any other reason I would be followed like this except for being brown, and perhaps a little scruffy.nForgive me for not donning my sunday best every time I go to the supermarket, but I can promise you I have never stolen or had any intention to. To be made to feel like a criminal suspect is bloody awful. Upon reading other reviews it appears I am not the only one.nThis is extremely disappointing as this supermarket is the closest to my house and I do like their Isbjorn beer range, but as this is the SECOND time this has happened I will now be going out of my way to go to Pak 'n Save.nThe staff are generally lovely but whatever security policy is causing this to happen is not worth the emotional hurt.nThank you,nJordan Lee
Best time to shop is when it opens. You get the benefit of Less traffic inside, shelves are loaded with fresh products and most times first choice on products on special. Tuesdays discounts for pensioners, which is a plus.
I can always find what I'm looking for at Woolworths Lower Hutt.nnEvery time I've visited, it has always been clean and tidy, and all the staff I've interacted with are super friendly.
clean store. But many staff look highly stressed and not happy. Plus the tall and big guy at self-checkout is only friendly to white customers. Go Queensgate WW where has better atmosphere.
Lots of cakes and Christmas goodies in stock. Also large teddy bears, Christmas cookies & lollies & chocolates.
