Best time to shop is when it opens. You get the benefit of Less traffic inside, shelves are loaded with fresh products and most times first choice on products on special. Tuesdays discounts for pensioners, which is a plus.
clean store. But many staff look highly stressed and not happy. Plus the tall and big guy at self-checkout is only friendly to white customers. Go Queensgate WW where has better atmosphere.
A nice bright store. Easy to move around and find what you need. Also plenty of car parking.
Over the last few weeks/months, the stock has been atrocious. I Used to shop there regularly but the last 5 times I shopped there, there was 6 items that were not in stock I checked a day later and same thing. Just down the road is queensgate woolworths and they always have all the items I need that Lower Hutt woolworths don't have. I keep trying lower hutt woolworths out of convenience but I'm done now as it's just a waste of time. Go to queensgate.
Feel like a kid in a candy store. Found deli staff friendly and special deals even friendlier.
