PAK'nSAVE Petone

Probably one of the most efficient places to shop in the Wellington region. This is a huge store with massive aisles, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to navigate a full trolley.nWhat really sets this location apart from the smaller, cramped supermarkets in the city is the ample parking space. Even during peak hours when it gets busy, I’ve never had an issue finding a park quickly. Plus, having the PAK’nSAVE fuel station right opposite the entrance is incredibly convenient for using those fuel vouchers immediately.nBecause it’s located just outside the main city limits, it feels much less chaotic than the CBD stores. It’s definitely my go-to for a bulk shop without the stress of inner-city traffic. Highly recommended if you want a straightforward, high-volume shopping experience!

Huge store and great deals. A good bakery and deli section too. One of the better pack n saves around, although can get quite busy.

This is the best PaknSave in NZ. Both it and Kilbirnie combine great general pricing with remarkably good selections of the medium/high end healthy/organic/vegan items and wines/beers that are missing from other PaknSaves. Produce is pretty good. Unlike Kilbirnie it has plastic bag recycling. It does get crowded and shopped out at times though.

Lots of covered parking which is nice. Inside is on the smaller side but great specials. Especially on baby items. Only thing letting them down is they don't give out luncheon like at the other supermarkets.

Pak’nSave Petone is a great supermarket — always well stocked, clean, and easy to shop in. The prices are hard to beat, which makes a big difference when doing a full grocery shop.nnThe staff are friendly and helpful, and the checkout process is usually quick even when it’s busy. It’s a reliable place to shop with good value and a wide range of products.nnDefinitely my go-to supermarket in the area.
