This branch, staffs and atmosphere, everything is good.nOne bad experience but its not about this branch. I bought garlic bread at woolworth. Its only $1.5, good value. I ate half already and found white hair in piece of bread. I think its from manufacturer. They dont wear the hat in the factory????? I had been liked this bread but now. Im not going to buy it any more.
Easily the worst Woolworths I've been during my whole NZ trip. The store is a mess with boxes and pallets blocking the way everywhere. Don't get me started on the limited assortment and then the limited stock of many items. The staff restocking is not friendly and some have very poor English skills. I will end with a postive note: the girl at the check-out was friendly and quite efficient.
Aisles cluttered with boxes blocking shelves. Sick of having to move them to get to the shelves. It’s now every aisle all the time. Only a matter of time until someone trips over them and hurts themselves. It’s getting to the point now where I no longer want to shop there.
The service was great and while at checkout theyoung girl realized i was having a asthma attack but by then i had head to my car while I sitting in passenger seat using my inhaler the manager came out and fully supported me amazing staff members in a extremely scary situation for me
The store is not huge, but they carry a great selection of fresh, dried and organic produce fruit, nuts, vegetables. They also have a large variety of breads, including pizza loafs?, deli meats, juices, and other food essentials, and plenty of storage, serving and cookware supplies. It seems this will be our go to store while we are visiting Nelson!
