Woolworths Belfast

I tried to buy a beer self service staff said can I see your ID I said seriously I'm in my late 20s? I started to get it out of my wallet before I could even get it out, she took it away canceled the transaction. Absolutely BS service. I'm almost 30 and look older than that. I was doing my weekly shopping there regularly but guess I'll have to go to pak n save papanui, At least there staff are more approachable.

A quick visit to this reasonably brand new supermarket. Lights have been added on the corner of the main road to allow ease of access by cars, etc.. Busy place, and there's a pharmacy.nCar parking is tight, so take care.

I see now countdown/woolworths are vacum packing a lot of there meat. Giving it 2-3 weeks more refrigerated shelf life. I don’t think this is too good idea as we don’t actually know when it has been packed. I have bought twice now the Snitzel and it’s as tough as old leather boots. They definitely need to cut out the grissle as it’s pretty uneatable, not good!!!! And we are getting overpriced chewy meat products. Please improve!!

I had to write this review. Everytime I stop in here probably twice a month on average the staff I encounter are just so friendly. It gives small town Supermarket vibes. Staff always smiling, saying hello etc. It's refreshing Good size too, not too small with less stock & not too big so it takes too long to get around the whole store.

Whoever is making the deli sandwiches needs a raise. They were always good but they somehow improved them even more. So fresh and tasty!
