Wellington Cable Car

It was a shite day weather wise but who cares when you have such a lovely visual experience going through the tunnel. The views were spectacular from the top. Beloved the museum/shop also.nStaff might want to smile and be a little friendly.

Whether you're going up or down or both. Great way to get into the city from the botanical gardens, can purchase your ticket from there. Very in expensive.nAmazing museum at the botanical gardens. Toilet facilities, coffee shop and pharmacy as well History of perfume at nearby store.nGreat views from the botanical gardens over looking wellington city and surrounds.nWorth it.

Spectacular view of the city from the top of the mountain. The cable car was very clean inside. Nice walk in the botanical garden. Though I think the fare was pretty costly for a short 5-minute ride.

Good views of the city. The tunnels which the cable car pass through has beautiful lights. You can opt for a return ticket or you can take the cable car upto the top and then visit the Botanical gardens and avoid the climbs. Better ombine the cable car visit with the botanical gardens. There is also a cable car museum on top. Parking is not very easy to find

Must do in Wellington and with good reason. The ride itself is short but sweet, and the museum is nice too. Also a great shop to get some nice souvenirs.
