What a great little journey up the mountain to the botanic gardens, This cable car is very cute and goes through two tunnels which are currently lit up with an led light show. The view from the top is extraordinary. Well worth the cost. The walk down through the gardens is lovely.
Great experience. We just went one way up & enjoyed the great view over Wellington & then walked back down through the beautiful Botanical Gardens. Well worth it, it's a must see attraction!! Well priced & affordable. Go on, do it, I would be surprised if you did not like it.
A delightful ride. On the ride up, there was a broadcast of the cable car's history and at the top there is a mini museum that doubles as a gift shop.nnThe Wellington botanical gardens is also located at the top. The rose garden is spectacular.
Must visit for views of the welly city and the ride is super amazing and affordable. 11 $ per person return for adult.nNot only Fun in ride but also you can see beautiful views from the top . You have to wait less than five minutes for next tram .
Absolutely recommend this experience especially if you like to learn about the history of such things. The botanical gardens up the top were great for the kids to get rid of some energy, and the view is amazing up there.nHidden in amongst the inner city of Wellington, this was a lovely activity to find amongst the hustle and bustle.nGlad we did it.
