New Zealand Parliament Buildings

Tip: book a tour online before coming here! I wish I did this but sadly didn’t know about the opportunity beforehand. It was still really nice admiring the buildings and grounds from around it; the centre of Aotearoa New Zealand politics. Totally walkable area.

We visited the parliament buildings including the historic parliament library/ parliament building and the Beehive. Did not do the inside tour but enjoyed the views from the outside. Beautiful walking path to venture around & photograph the history.

I participated in a guided tour. It was well organised, the guide was friendly and we got lots of interesting facts. However, a minor caveat was a too big group size so the the guide had to spent a lot of time to keep the group together.nOverall an impressive parliament house definitely worth visiting while in Wellington.

The Parliament tour taken by Megan was incredible. She was incredibly patient with non English speaking visitors and so well spoken. She was knowledgeable and had no hesitation in answering questions.nnHighly recommended. Also the gift shop is not badly priced!
