It is a leisure walk for about an hour or so. Lots of road signs that make sure you won't get lost. There is a children playground about 1/4 of the route if you start from the cable car station. There are lots of good views of downtown Wellington at this trail.
Beautiful botanic gardens! We had the most wonderful stroll through the clean and pretty gardens and enjoyed every second! I would recommend taking the cable car up, enjoy a beautiful stroll through the peaceful gardens and treat yourself to a nice coffee/brunch in the cafe next to the cable car. Such a wholesome way to spend a few quality hours!
The Wellington Botanical Gardens are an amazing place to go for the weekend and holidays!nThe grounds have multiple gardens and walkways that are stunning to look at, and has a playground for kids.nnTheir is a peace area at the Rose Garden with a beautiful waterfall and an eternal flame, a cafe also is located at the Rose Garden. I would recommend coming here for an entire day and exploring!
Beautiful walk through the gardens! It is very well kept up and relaxing to spend an afternoon walking around.nIt is accessible via taking the cable car up to the top or can walk there. I wouldn’t suggest driving due to the lack of parking spots.
Massive garden with lots of beautiful scenery, small animals, birds. Entry is free and you can easily spend at least 2 hours here exploring.
