Central Park

This adorable little fantail just followed me until I got in my car! It didn't leave me alone for like an hour and a half!nThe playground, I mean, I'm 15 but I still love swings?

The most amazing city park i have ever seen... You feel like you're in the middle of a national park, 5 minutes walk from a busy street!

I have lived in Brooklyn Wellington over 40 years. Central Park has always been a beautiful , serene haven. I has a wonderful play area, clean toilet facilities, and many wonderful walks through bush.

I love walking through Central Park in Wellington! The trails and stairs are well maintained, and the changes in elevation will most definitely give your legs and lungs a bit of a workout.nWhat I like most about Central Park is the feeling of being transported back in time. The greenery and magnificent Silver Fern trees combine with the sounds of the Kākā and Tui birds to make you forget you are in the city. Truly spectacular!nFor the photographer, this is a must see place to spend a few hours capturing images of the flora and fauna.

Lots of places to explore and a helpful shortcut between the southern inner suburbs. The best part is probably the playground, which is suitable for younger kids and also has the flying foxes for the older kids. My favourite aspect is the phenomenal colours to be found.
