Wanaka Alpine View Lodge

This place was so lovely that I ended up booking an extra night! The room was beautiful, and the view was amazing. Just a heads up, there are large bumblebees right outside the window, and with no fly screens, it’s hard to let fresh air in comfortably. Other than that, I highly recommend it!

This little hideaway has everything you need to be comfy. The location and views are great. To be so close to Wanaka, but in a tranquil quiet spot is perfect.nCheck-in is simple, facilities are modern and nothing is cheaped out on.nI'd stay here again and for even longer!

The place is very well equipped with everything from a coffee pod machine to a towel warmer in the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable as well, which to me is the most important thing. Only a 5min drive in to the main area as well. Great value for money overall, would highly recommend.

A little oasis in the bustling town of Wanaka, the lodge offers a serene escape with mountain views and cozy settings. The added bonus of a hot bath after a long walk made our stay even more enjoyable.

This is a magnificent place to stay!nnIt has the rural new zealand feel, with beautifully managed gardens, but inside has modernized facilities. An excellent balance of the two.nnI was really taken back at the view of the stars, the quality and detail that have been put into the accomodation, the modern bathroom, flat screeen tv...nnThe hosts are absolutely heart warming, and the breakfast was beautifully done.nnIt is only a very short drive into town...and was by a long strech the best accomodation I have stayed in through the many years of travel in new zealand.nnVery highly recommended.
