The Butcher's Block and Smokehouse

Sausages are a very personal thing. Finally after nearly 3 years of being in Nz we have found our sausage! My son says we must move here. Also had amazing beef for the bbq and of course fantastic service.

Fabulous butcher! Great meat of all kinds, they’ll cut a steak just for you, and some great seasonings and condiments. Soooo much better than the droll supermarket offerings. What a joy of a discovery.

I use The Butcher's Block mainly to process deer that I have hunted myself. These guys never fail to deliver. Everything they have ever produced has been first-rate. Sausages, salamis, chorizo, burger patties....you name it, the team can do it. The service is always great and they care about what they do. It shows in the quality of the meat I receive. Keep it up BB.

Got some Chorizo sausages made up by them from leg of venison.nReally good, lots of spicy goodness and lots of flavour.

Top quality!nhad great ribeye and fillet here, as well as lamb sausages. Fair prices as well. If your accommodation in Wanaka got a grill make sure you do a bbq for one of your meals, worth it big time!
