Riding here for the first time, O WOW!! Tight steep and technical, good climbs up, and awesome flowing downhills!nGreat for a levels off MTBing. I really liked the wash bay at the car park! Overall awesome days riding.
The MTB trails were fun. The condition of Mohaka Meander and Konini Climb is excellent. The trail markings, however, are not great. A lot of trails tee off in different directions, and it's not always clear where they go. I would definitely create a map of the trails I want to do on my GPS to know where I'm going next time around.
A very big and fun park for mountain bike riders, walker and dogs. They have heaps different track from easy to advanced. After last night rain road still muddy and wet. Got a tap to drink and wash your bike.
Awesome track for kids! Was my youngest kids first time riding a trail and it was small enough that I could jog along behind. Kids thoroughly enjoyed it! We took a picnic lunch as well.
Some gnarly tracks with poor signage. Only a few tracks suitable for beginners.nnHaving said that, I absolutely love the beautifully built new Mohaka Meander track and the Konini Climb it connects too.
