The top of the Te Whiti Riser track. Continue North along the track to Naenae and the Stokes Valley beyond or head South to the Te Whiti Riser fire break track down to Te Whiti Park or further along the ridge to Towai Peak and the Wainui Lookout beyond. Great views from up here. Almost got blown off the hill by the wind! It was blowing a gale.
Congratulations you made it! The North exit of the Te whiti Riser brings you here to the summit, approx 3.75kms from the bottom. Great 360° views abound here! South west to Wellington harbour, south east to the Wainuiomata Valley, West and North West to the Hutt Valley. And the best news? Its downhill from here! ‍‍
