Stayed for 3 nights in the superior room.nSue is an amazing host. The room and common areas were spotless.nnThe garden is incredible, first thing the wife and I did was go and explore it. The common living room felt very homely and the outdoor patio area was relaxing with the sounds of the stream at the bottom of the property.nnSue helped us with our day excursions, giving us detailed local knowledge and advice.nSue consistently went above and beyond and really made our stay feel special.nnTip. Such a marvelous, quiet place, beautiful garden and pleasant host!nWould recommend any time, the host had perfect recommendations for activities and places to go.nFelt like coming home every day.

Sue is a very welcoming owner. She is happy to share her knowledge of local places to visit etc. She has a couple of rooms available, both are clean and comfortable. There is also a lounge with TV and comfortable sofas. There is a kitchen area with a microwave, toaster and kettle. Tea, coffee & hot chocolate are available at all timesnThe garden is beautiful and worth a walk around if the weather is dry. We experienced some very wet nights.

My wife and I stayed at Waimoana Gardens on Saturday night..what a gem this beautiful property is! The accommodation was spotlessly clean and although out room was small the presentation was just superb. The bathroom was brand new and shower was spot on. The shared lounge area was beautifully furnished and looked out on the patio and the enchanting gardens. In the late afternoon we spend an hour with glasses in hand wandering through the nooks and crannies of the gardens where Sue has created this labour of love among the trees, shrubs, flowers and sculpture. Breakfast in the morning was in the charming atrium and once again Sue's attention to detail meant that breads, jams, coffee, fruits and cereals were all top notch served alongside spotless and nicely selected crockery. Waimoana gardens...what a find...we highly recommend a stay here...good for the soul we think!
