I would rate 6 stars in stead of 5 for their service and integrity. Beginning of November went to 3 butchers to order hangi meat not one wanted my money they were busy. I didn't need my meat till January. However these guys said yes we will have it for you 1st week in December. I paid right then and picked up today. They looked at my receipt and asked did you order something else? I said no. They checked my order went to the boss and he said we need to give you some money back. We have over charged. And I was given my money back in cash. Bless them for their honesty because I would have not known the differences. This is for my husband unveiling and I only have 1 income been saving all year. Thku your the best butcher in NZ. Now I have money to buy my husband's favourite chocolates to put on the table.

Thanks to Steve, our faith has been restored. Steve apologised and accepted they had stuffed our order up and delivered it to our home address free of charge. Now that is excellent customer service, we will continue to shop at Tikipunga Fresh foods. Merry Christmas Steve & staff. nn**************************nOrdered a Pork Rib roast from these guys over a week ago. Picked it up Tuesday to find it was a rack of porkwrong cut of meat. They said they would re do for me and pick would be Thursday. Went in today Friday and they could not find the order. Was told to come back a third time. What has happened to customer service in NZ. Don't go to these guys if you want your order processed.

Pop into my local butchery for a quick squiz and the gentleman owner? at the back of the shop was very friendly. Greeted all customers that came through the door no matter how busy he was. Also very helpful when customers had questions regarding meat cuts. I had a newborn with me in baby capsule and allowed me to place it on the table while I shopped. Even helped me carry out to the car. Will go back again to check out their specials. Had gone in close to end of the day, meat looks fresh enough

Usually good.. But young Maori guy isn't too friendly when wife joked about him not knowing what souvlaki was. Meat was oxidised.

I bought two pieces of fillet steak today for dinner tonight and it was absolutely delicious and very tender. Thank you
