Absolutely incredible meals, fantastic service, and all at a great price point - $15 for two choices of hot curry and rice!nnMy friend and I popped in on Sunday afternoon and each got a $15 two-meal option. I got the pork sisig and beef calderata. The sisig was so soft, rich and tender, excellent choice if you want some high quality, delicious protein and fat. The beef calderata was probably the *best* beef casserole I've ever tasted - the flavours are sublime. Highly recommend that one for a stew/casserole fan!nnMy friend got two other options - sweet and sour pork and and beef karekare. The sweet and sour pork was AWESOME - definitely not too sweet, not too sour, flavoured by real ingredients.. it put regular s+s pork to absolute shame. The beef karelare was nice, but I would only recommend if you are an umami/shrimp taste fan! It was a taste sensation, and if you like seafood my friend definitely recommends. I think you can ask for it with less shrimp flavour too.nnSorry we didn't take photos, but it was legitimately too delicious to not tuck in straight away! All in all, this is a Filipino jewel in Kamo. You've given us a reason to visit each time we drive through, all the way from Welly. Thank you Nora! You showed us taste we didn't even know we wanted - got any Filipino food recommendations down in the capital city?
Highly recommend Nora’s Lutong Bahay for authentic filipino cuisines! We ordered the lechon belly roll and beef caldereta, it was very delicious and full of flavours!
Soooooo good! Every time we are visiting from Auckland we pop in for lunch. Every single thing is delish! The pork sisig is amazing. The binagoongong has sooo much flavor. You simply can’t go wrong!
SO AMAZING!!! Not on is the Filipino food delicious but the pies and sweet baked goods are so original and delicious!!! soooo much variety to choose from and it's the type of food that no one will get sick of!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
I love all the bread, very fresh and super good, very soft and affordable. Staff are very nice and approachable, i recommend stopping in their store whenever you're in Kamo area.
