I called an ambulance as it was an emergency. I didn’t expect my son to be abandoned in the waiting room in absolute agony. Had him picked up at 3am. They obviously had no because they called his name at 6am. Would be a little I understandable if they were busy..ncompared to Tauranga hospital, well there isn’t any. Problem always resolved before discharged. And never would you be left in an uncomfortable and agonising position and forgotten. 12 hours later, he is no better, shocking. One ambulance ride, I won’t be paying for…
Once again in Waikato Hospital, E8 ward. I've bn so well looked after and cared for. The meals are awesome my room is clean and the staff are amazing. I send out a huge big thanks to the nurses, ordeleys,doctors, cleaners receptionist, everyone. You all have an input to keep the hospital ticking.
Extremely nice nurses, helpful doctors and relatively quick service. Went in for a non emergency appendix removal and only waited 24h to get on the operating table. Lovely food and nice rooms, even compared to some private hospitals
ED - my husband and I spent 7 hours in ED yesterday due to my chest pain and shortness of breath. The time didn't seem to matter to us as I was so distracted by the lovely staff one in particular she was working a 1pm shift. Short more mature lady, pixie gray hair cut and a maroon uniform. If you see this you made me wait amazing x Thank you
