Such an aesthetic bakery/cafe! All the breads and pastries were delicious, packed with flavour. I strongly recommed the almond croissant, it literally melts in your mouth, with the perfect crunch of the puffy outer pastry, the filling is the perfect sweetness without being overwhelming - and the almonds are roasted to perfection!! The chicken and brie pie was also scrumptious!! Perfect savoury to compliment the sweet pastry. Coffee was perfect too- lovely roast.
Went to Volare at Parkwood Hamilton for the first time last week and bought a coffee, jam donuts, marmite scroll and different loaves of bread. My family and I loved each baked item of yummy. My sons are so taken by them they went in today and got an assortment of baked deliciousness and both have declared Volare as their fave place to go. It's going to a race now!!!! Great service, great selection and totally awesome
Loved coming here esp. on Fridays for the Chili Chicken salad. Try their artisan bread/loaves and cabinet goodies. It's a must-try.
Simply the best carrot cake in New Zealand, so delicious, huge slices slathered in lush cream cheese, nuts, seeds and dried fruit!! Other products are all great. We love the sourdough bread which freezes well, so we always buy a few at a time. Hubby loves the sausage rolls. Filled sandwiches also yum. You cant go wrong buying bread and food from Volare.
Good friendly staff. Hot chocolate is nice. I wanted to have the Tomato and lentil soup but I was very surprised they serve it in a take away cup the drinking cup for drinks. It's not even welcoming to have a soup in a take away cup. Foods are served very cold and they can not heat it up. So we have to take it home to heat it up properly. In conclusion, hot drinks, very cold food and soups served in a take away drinking cups. Won't come again and waste my money. Am not sure how they got their awards that was filling the walls of the place. Maybe their breads are good, I haven't tried them. But I know they will be served cold.
Lovelove breads so when I saw this place in Google maps I must try before heading back home a nice grab and go place good selection unfortunately the morning bun I picked up that day didn't taste fresh so that's a bit sad the coffee was good had a brioche and Turkish pulide for takeaway too the pide was good.
Compared with other Volare shops, this shop also offers the variety of sandwiches, ideal for quick lunch options . Always enjoy going here.
Highly recommend! Their pork, apple and fennel sausage roll was the best we’ve ever had, it had a really great balance of flavours. The pork and chorizo sausage roll was also really well balanced, same with the chicken and leak pie it was seasoned really nicely. The jalapeño and cheddar was the best savoury scone we’ve ever had too, it was 10/10. We didn’t get to try any bread, but it looked and smelled divine. The banana cake was also really tasty and not too sweet! As Australian’s we were a bit confused by the lack of tomato sauce available, but everything was so delicious that it didn’t matter.
I bought the Lucy’s gluten free sourdough cut loaf. D E L I C I O U S. hands down the chewy-ist, softest gf sandwich bread I have ever had. Plus when I purchased some pastries they put in a couple extra - what service
Best hot cross bun ever in NZ one of my friend says, and I agreed! I will definitely visit again later on.
