We love working with local cake suppliers and one of our favourites is Vaani. Her cakes are always so beautiful and each one is unique to every couple. As a wedding florist we only use gorgeous premium flowers and we love that Vaani has such an incredibly high standard of professionalism and her attention to detail is 100%. It is always such a pleasure to work with Vaani and a delight to see her stunning creations and how she uses our flowers to decorate her wedding cakes. We are lucky to have worked with Vaani on numerous weddings and I highly recommend her as a wonderful supplier to work with as well as being incredibly talented!
Before I talk about the cake, I will start by saying that Vaani is just a lovely person and from my original enquiry email to our random Instagram messages post-wedding, her positivity and friendliness make me so glad that we chose her. She was extremely supportive and understanding when we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid-19 and even offered suggestions for a new videographer when our original one couldn't make our new date. We knew that we wanted a buttercream cake because who likes fondant icing?! and were blown away by the sample pack that we received in the post - not only were the flavours great, but the care and attention to detail with the packaging made us want to book with Vaani immediately. She created the most perfect cake for our wedding, which looked amazing and tasted delicious too. Even though we hadn't tasted some of the flavours in advance, Vaani smashed it and all of our guests loved them. She also used the flowers from our florist to make the simple cake into a show-stopper. I would highly recommend Vaani's beautiful and delicious cakes!
Vaani is incredibly talented. Her cakes are unreal and she’s so professional. When we received our samples, we knew we made the right decision for our wedding. The cake was was so lovely we opted to not have desert do it was a highlight for all our guests. Also, visually it was stunning with fresh flowers.
Vaani is not only the nicest, most accommodating woman in the world, her cakes are out of this world! I did a lot of research for our wedding cake, as I have a severe nut allergy and have to be very careful about who I order from to be sure the allergy is taken seriously. Vaani set my mind at ease as soon as I reached out to her! She made sure to note down that she had taken care to have no nuts in the kitchen when making our samples and cake in evert email, which was so reassuring! Also the day you have your cake sample box arrive is one of the best in the wedding lead up! It's so hard to choose what flavours you want because they're all delicious! Vaani even made a custom flavour for us, which was incredible! She also designed the cake to perfection- our wedding had a celestial theme, and she styled the cake beautifully! We had so many compliments about how it looked and tasted. We also got to meet Vaani on the day to thank her ourselves, which I was so happy about! The amount of effort and love Vaani puts into her work is amazing. Thank you so much, Vaani, for being part of the best day of our lives!
Vaani was excellent to work with from start to finish - one of those suppliers I just didn’t have to worry about. She created the cake of my dreams, communicated any concerns RE the real flowers in advance so I could liaise in time with the florist. The cake itself was delicious, we have so much left over too that’s we have stored in the freezer. I would 100% recommend her every time.
We booked Vaani to create our wedding cake and we were absolutely delighted by the end result. Vaani was great at staying in touch right m from the time from enquiry until after the wedding. Although we had ideas of what we wanted it wasn’t firm but it was easy to bounce ideas off Vaani and the end result was even more beautiful than we had imagined. We would certainly recommend Vaani to anyone in need of a cake for their special day. From the get go she was friendly, professional and efficient. I am certainly missing the days where I was able to feast off Vaani’s cakes 3 times a day!
As an avid baker, cook and food photographer myself, choosing the right person to make our wedding cake was super important to us. I want to begin by saying that getting to know Vaani first and foremost was a pleasure - she felt more like a friend than a supplier! We decided to order cake samples from her which were stunning to taste some of the potential flavours we were thinking of choosing. The attention to detail was second to none and I could tell that so much thought and had gone into our package, including a hand written note. Although we didn’t get to see Vaani on our wedding day, she set the cake up as soon as possible to us cutting it to make sure it was in prime condition our wedding day ended up being sunny and 20C in mid May and styled some of Unruly Flowers flowers on it which were elegant, timeless and minimal - just the way we envisioned. We actually haven’t tasted any of the cake as of yet as we jetted off to honeymoon straight after the wedding so it’s in the freezer! but can say from the samples they were delicious!! Thank you so much Vaani! If you’re looking for attention to detail, someone who goes above and beyond and really listens to your needs Vaani is the one!
Vaani made the best cake that Becki and I have ever tasted. The chocolate and salted caramel was my favourite, and Becki’s favourite was the coffee and baileys. The wedding party’s favourite was lemon and lemon curd! Basically, every flavour of our wedding cake was so good that it became an instant ‘best ever’ favourite of many of those who tried it. These are the most beautiful cakes you could hope for. We had ours at a wedding and absolutely loved it. The whole experience from tasting to…proper tasting!…was fantastic. Everything was handled smoothly and set up perfectly on the day of the wedding without any worries at all. Becki and I are so pleased and cant recommend enough. Thank you Vaani for our beautiful wedding cake!
We are so grateful to Vaani for making our beautiful wedding cake and for all of her advice, ideas and support. From sending us various samples to try, to all our emails and calls - Vaani was a pleasure to work with. The cake looked stunning and it was just as we envisaged. The buttercream, fresh flowers and Vaani’s care when setting up and styling meant the cake looked so elegant reflected in the mirror with all the candles twinkling around it. Most importantly, the cake tasted absolutely amazing, the lemon flavour was incredibly light and just perfect for the end of our meal.
