We had breakfast here during the Taupo marathon weekend and it was very busy, that said our food came out quickly and hot. Very tasty, fairly priced and great service. Good coffee too! Will definitely be back when passing through Taupo Kid-friendliness: We had our daughter in her pram and she easily fit in the cafe without blocking the pathways. They also had highchairs available.

Great cafe, offer some gluten free options. Staff were really lovely. Food was a wee bit pricey though

Just had a fabulous lunch at Victoria’s Cafe Kitchen Bar, only stopped as my wife’s name is Victoria. The food was delicious and very well presented. The atmosphere is great and the staff were very friendly. The food came really quick. We’ll definitely visit here again and I would highly recommend for breakfast and lunch if in Taupo.

This place was super crowded when we went for breakfast two days ago - barely got a seat, and the noise level was a little overwhelming tbh maybe because we’d been spending so much time in the quiet South Island, maybe because it was a Sunday morning :/. Once the crowd petered out it was a lovely place. Pancakes were amazing, the eggs bene with spinach were great as well - would totally have them again. My additional side scramble was over salted however, and I could not finish it as a result.

The food was nice. However the edamame beens were a bit frozen. The place was very busy but the service was relatively quick.

Excellent cafe for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Reuben was delicious, lots of fresh-baked treats sweet and savory, all of the breakfast standards plus nice sandwiches, salads, and baked things.

There’s a line here for a reason! Amazing offering of pastries to go highly recommend the savory scone and the coffee was delectable. Perfect stopover while traveling through the island and seriously worth the wait!Recommended dishesFlat White Large

I chose the salmon bagel for $21. Disappointed with the very small salmon serving - about a tablespoon size. Presentation was also unattractive with the large blob of cream cheese. This was poor value for the portion size and presentation. I passed on feedback to the waiter who agreed to let the chef know but provided no helpful remedy.

Great food. Great music. Great service. Quite central. Went there twice during my stay in Taupo. Sightly overpriced but totally worth it. Highly recommend!
