food is pretty good but service is bad. Some waitstaff are rude.

Best Indian restaurant I've been to so far. Food is amazing and well worth the price. Tapas are amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful. Staff are extremely polite- lovely people. There is this one waiter who takes care of the people that sits at the front of the restaurant. He is extremely lovely and does come in to check if you would like anything else. He has a lovely smile put on and shows that he loves his work. He is a pleasure to be around. Their mango ice cream is by far the best mango ice cream I've had in years ! So well done guy ! You have got yourself a new loyal customer.

First time; Westernized Indian food. Nice atmosphere and share platter is good. Second time; Don't go for bottomless curry, it's extremely watered down and no meat. Also got charged for an extra drink I didn't have.

The food was just ok, the best thing about their curry is their bottom-less curry deal; however, the more you top-up your curry, the less meat you get. Staff members were friendly, courteous, and accommodating. Just beware that most of the time it took really long time to cook their food.

The butter chicken I had was delicious! I thought it was pretty good value too, considering a standard bottomless curry yes, bottomless curry comes with rice, naan bread and a poppadom. Only thing that let down the experience was the atmosphere - it was a bit quiet and quite cold inside.

After wandering around looking for a suitable place for lunch, this one grabbed my interest. I enjoy Indian food and was keen to try something new. Mine was the Himalayan Chicken and my wife had Chicken Frankie. We both comment on how nice the food was, mine was just hot enough with a little kick. The hardest thing was selecting what to eat, so many yummy sounding dishes. Can't wait to explore the menu another time. Be adventurous you will not regret it. The staff were very friendly and prompt.

Had lunch here with a buddy - I had the Bombay Lamb and he had the Himalaya Chicken. Both were yummy as, and the bottomless curry offer meant we each got several refills. Apparently the record is 12 refills, I don't know how you could do that without exploding. Anyway, great lunch, great personal service and great value.

I want to share one incident me and my friends we were coming from somewhere and we went for dinner at urban turban. It was almost closed and chef was leaving the place but owner stopped him and said him to made our order and he will pay him extra for it. Their customer service was very impressive for us and yes food was also very delicious. Thank you so much gentlemen for your such warm services :

Very disappointing, both food and service. We booked a table for 4 adults and 1 toddler the day before, when we arrived the waiter only gave us a small square table, when i reminded him that we have a little person too, he insisted on us taking a small table and we had to put our son in the corner. I wasnt happy but was ok with it since its xmas time and most restaurants are very busy, but by the time we left, the restaurant wasnt even half full, clearly they could have given us a bigger table. Food was below average I would say, similar to the type you get at the food court, but triple the prices, I ordered a plain lassi which is my favourite Indian drink, after the first sip i almost puked, it's the most discusting lassi i ever had, salty and sweet at the same time! yark! my husband tried a sip and was shocked by the taste. I like Indian food and have tried many indian restaurants in Auckland, this is one of the worst, its too bad, the environment and atmosphere are really nice, but I will not go back! If you like Indian food, try Little India, is so much nicer!

. 07/2016 Good location. Ample parking around. Cordial service with smile. Liked the ambiance and soft instrumental music. Also there is one typical Indian auto standing outside. It normally takes 20-30 minutes before serving begins after order is placed. Busy over weekends. Nice outdoor seating. Good for groups and celebrations.
