One of the best Samosas in Auckland CBD. If you want samosas then you should go after 10:30am. I would recommend other food items in the menu.

Love this place for chaats and Chai. Reasonably priced with good taste and quantity. Please ask questions near the cashier if you are not familiar with the food and the quantity as I got to know they serve two portion size for samosa chaat where as with one samosa the chaat cost if $7 and with two samosas it's $9. Also the taste is good and samosas are fresh compared to other places.

Reviews seemed decent so went to check this out as I work downtown. Had the butter chicken on rice for $8. Everything was a little cold and the curry was just way too watery. Tasted a tad salty too. Plus side is the guy serving was lovely and the prices are great but probably won't be back.Food: 2/5

The other review was right, best samosas in the CBD. Nice and spicy with a lovely sauce. Only $2.50 and 2 is a good amount for lunch for me and I’m a big eater. Nice lassi too!

I’ve studied in India and ate home cooked meals every day. I was blown away with the authenticity of the Samosa Chaat & the curries they serve here. Thanks for bringing back the good memories of amazing Indian food!!!

A nice little takeaway serving freshly cooked Indian food and snacks. The menu items are limited which makes the choice of items very easy. The food is kept in heated display units which makes it easier to order and choose from. Taste is nice and balanced in terms of spices. The staff are nice and helpful too. Prices are reasonable and genuine. A couple of seating stools are inside the takeaway for a quick bite. Very nice experience overall.

I've bought Curries from them few times , not expecting restaurant quality from $8 curry but I do expect food that's not stale and off.Usually Curries don't go off at least 2 days in fridge, their food has always gone off over night when I store left over in the fridge. You can actually smell that it's off, happened around 3 times I got food from them and today went in to get some pani puri which guy took so long to pack and clearly ignoring all customers walking in. At least two customers were waiting to be served who ended up walking out since they weren't getting attention from staff. My pani puri that he took 15 minutes to pack had literally next to none potatoes or chickpeas in it, I'm taking about 4 chick peas and less than half a teaspoon of potatoes. There was no Sweet chutney either which usually comes with it. So yeah not expecting some premium quality but if you are running food business I think it's important to meet those deadlines and bad customer service doesn't help either.

I don't know where to find a negative option, or all these over 3 star reviews seem to be not real. We tried four times and all of them were just s**. Large size burger bun had just a small dry ball of patty smashed in, with spoon of lettuce and that's about it. Tasteless, ripoff. Dahi puri was filled with just potatoes, Dahi and sweet chutney, literally. They really are not aware what Indian food is

Addicted to the samosa chaat here, but the vege curry, rice and roti deal is so good too. Staff are so warm - highly recommend!
