Was my first rime here at this beautiful restaurant. The service was amazing. The staff were very lovely and friendly. They recommended good wines to go with the food. Lady owner also introduced the items and ingredients which is outstanding, especially I cannot handle spices, so she pretty much gave me the heads up. The items we tried were really yummy and mouth watering. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the mains as we were full with entree and one bottle of wine lol The parking is a nightmare $14 per hour! and the sitting inside was bit dark and gloomy hence the four star but food and service is definitely 5 stars! Thank you
Was my first time here at this beautiful restaurant. The service was amazing. The staff were very lovely and friendly. The items we tried were really yummy and mouth watering. Coupled with nice interiors, the place delivers a perfect fine dine experience. Every dish that we ordered exceeded expectations and the quality of the food was very impressive. Will surely be back to try more items!
A must visit while in Auckland if you’re thinking of Indian food. Whilst you will certainly come back for the food one thing that really sets this apart is the personal attention that the owner Ms Dimple pays to each guest. She is superb at what she does and her passion shows in her guest interactions. Kudos to you, Dimple, for setting up such an amazing restaurant far away from home to make people like us feel at home! The staff is sweet, humble and super quick on your needs. Go try this place today!
Where do I begin? When we arrived we were completely overwhelmed by the smell of charcoal fumes. Super unpleasant and completely took away from what could've been a really nice ambience. Then, when we were getting ready to order and asked for more time to decide we were told this wasn't possible and we had to order immediately as it would hold the service up. Note: We'd booked ahead of time and arrived on time for dinner at 7pm. The restaurant closes at 10pm and it wasn't even that busy at that time. Shocking hospitality and put a damper on the mood. Finally, the food. Completely average, overpriced and the worst was that the portions were embarrassingly tiny. Absolutely awful experience and I should've been warned after seeing someone else post a similar experience.
Tried here for Friday lunch, and absolutely loved it. Tasty food with friendly staff recommending food options when both of my initial choices were not really available main was too big for two people and the smaller dish was out of stock. Both dishes they recommended instead of my initial choices were fantastic. Will visit again next time!
Nice ambiance, food. Came here for a late lunch and everything was very good. Fast as well. I recommend the Tandoori trio 3 different kinds of chicken
Scrumptious food, excellent flavours, and considerate service. Coupled with nice interiors, the place delivers a perfect fine dine experience. Every dish that we ordered exceeded expectations and the quality of the food was very impressive. Chilly Chicken was one of the most authentic Indo-Chinese while the Spicy Chicken Naan had remarkable flavours. We aksed them to customize Bhatti Murg with minimum oil & ghee, and it was delicious. Will surely be back to try more items! Vegetarian options: Lots of veg starters and main course Parking: On-street parking
We went to iVillage a few weeks back as a recommendation by a random truck driver who saw one of us eating takeaway Indian food. He said iVillage is possibly the best Indian restaurant in Auckland. After going, we all agree with him. This was one of the best dining experience we have had, and is the best Indian food we have tried yet in Auckland. Our host happened to be the owner, and she was fabulous. She made us feel very welcome, made recommendations of food to try, was overall very friendly and professional, while also providing good banter. The atmosphere in iVillage was very pleasant. The restaurant itself is so well set up, with a lot to look at and enjoy while you wait. The food itself was fantastic. Generally when we go to a restaurant and order a bunch of dishes, it would be rare to find a place where we thought every dish was good. We had that experience at iVillage. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks for the great experience.
I have visited iVillage 3 times and they have never disappointed whether it is food, service or ambience. We ordered lunch today and it is accompanied with tasty complementary dish. Chicken changezi - Main course dish - soft and juicy chicken with a curry having perfect blend of spices with cheese chilli garlic naan which just melts in the mouth. Paneer meri pasand was another star dish with an awesome accompanied with tandoori roti and rice. All in all a fulfilling meal and a good experience.
Great dining experience, excellent service fantastic cocktails & delicious food. Highly recommend this India restaurant for family, groups, & couples. Five Stars...Food: 5/5
