Two Little Fish

Disappointing experience for three reasons.nnFirstly order over the phone was really hard as they wre struggling to understand what the order was and so had to repeat multiple times. In the end the order was still wrong with extra things that we didn't want and missing some things we did want. We ended up being charged for extra cheese that we didnt want and the burger came out with NO cheese!nSecondly was told about 15-20min where in fact it took over 30mins.nLastly once we actually got the food it wasn't that great at all. The burger had old bread, was bland and used chicken nugget like things. Kumara chips were overcooked and some were quite burnt.nnOverall for a $36 meal it was a let down. Seems like maybe staffing problems or they are just too busy and can't maintain the quality fish and chips they seem to be known for.

I had an amazing experience at Two little fish! the fish was incredibly fresh and the batter was perfectly crispy without being too greasy. the chips were golden and cooked just right. the staff were friendly and the service was quick. the portion sizes were generous and the tartar sauce was deliciously tangy. i highly recommend this place if youre in the mood for some classic fish and chips. 5/5

Best and busiest fish & chip shop with the slowest service.nnThis is a very popular shop that has outgrown its capacity. The food is outstanding, but the service times are woefully bad.nnIf you can't increase your capacity, then at least quote accurate wait times when the order is placed. Waiting 35 minutes for a small order that was supposed to be ready on 20 minutes isn't really good enough.nnThere were a lot of customers getting agitated with the unexpectedly long wait times tonight.

Honestly best fish n chips I've had yet. The chips are seasoned and cooked well, little to no grease fish is fresh! Yum!
