Damn good service. Had fish, onion and meat roll, chips and hotdog. All beautifully cooked and done to perfection. Probably the best takeaway shop in the area. Easily outdoes a few others within a couple of kilometers. Staff were genial and very polite. Will go to this place again.
The chips were excellent. Well cooked. The fish wasn't very nice. Wrinkly batter, a bit dry and not tasty. The gurnad and the snapper were indistinguishable.
This is a $29 family pack 5, and it comes with 4 fish of the day, 4 mini hotdogs, 4 potatoe flips, 2 dougnuts and 2 scoops of chips. Which we did not get. We took it back and they were happy to fix their mistake but maybe next time take it a bit slow and pay more attention. Otherwise very nice and easy to deal with.
Best fish and chips in nelson ,Ive been to them all but Giuseppe never fails
OK so let me explain some context, we have our 'go to' place which is 20 minutes drive from home, but as I work close to it, picking up and rushing home is easy. BUT we have been hunting for a CHIPS ONLY place for when 'ya jus need some chips to go wit a meal'.nnGreat chip flavour. Brilliant crunch. Light fluffy interior. Fair portion size. It is our new go to for hot chips in a hurry.nnSome folks complain that the 'girl' is rude or surly. I disagree - I suspect her blank expression is a cultural thing, don't read anything into it.nnI gave zero points for atmosphere because it, just like lots of other chippies is a tiny store designed to produce tasty food for you to... wait for it... Wait for it... TAKE AWAY! it's not supposed to have atmosphere.nnLovely playing fields and playground across the road and usually easy parking.
