Accommodation:
The Ocean Lodge is situated a short walk from the white sands and gentle waves of Tahunanui Beach, and adjacent to the open green field of the Tahunanui Sports Grounds.

With 11 spacious well appointed studio and 2 bedroom motel units which cater for individual, family or group requirements.

Some units have full kitchen facilities the main hotel commercial kitchen provide an alternative to cater for larger groups e.g. sports teams.

With off street parking suitable for large commercial vehicles, the provision of room service, continental breakfasts and homemade takeaway lunches the accommodation appeals to trucking firms

Local Hospitality at it's Best:
With three bars, 17 TV screens, a full service TAB, 18 gaming machines, 3 pool tables, juke box, table tennis, poker tournaments, dart competitions and friendly staff, with an attitude, the Ocean Lodge is a must for all sports fans!

Food:
The Ocean Lodge proudly boasts value for money dining with a real home cooked flavour.

We are repeatedly told by our customers that we serve the best value for money pub food in town.
Our specials, at a very reasonable $13.50, change daily.

Monday - Ham Steak, salad & fries. Tuesday - Chef's Special. Wednesday - Jumbo Bangers, 2 eggs with mash & gravy. Thursday - Rump Steak, salad & fries. Friday - Fish & Chips. Saturday - Seafood basket. Sunday - Roast of the Day

Our everyday bistro hours are: Lunch 12 – 2pm Evening 5 – 8.30pm

In addition to the Ocean Lodge bistro and snack menus, we have a range of menu options that can be designed to suit any private function or group bookings.

Special Occasions:
The Ocean Lodge provides an ideal venue for those special occasions with facilities to suit groups 30 – 120+

A meeting room also provides an ideal affordable facility for up to 50 people.

Catering is designed to suit individual requirements and to accommodate any budget.

The Club Bar is an ideal venue for birthday parties, work place get togethers, trade functions, etc.

If you are planning a fundraiser then the Ocean Lodge can cater for quiz evenings (120 people) and the venue will even provide a contribution for the right cause.
