We needed a pet friendly overnight stop on the road trip to Wellington.nSuper helpful when our departure was delayed and we were arriving quite late. The room was cosy and warm on arrival.nVery comfy beds, lots of hot water, a good shower. Exactly what you need after a long day of packing up a house to move followed by a long drive.
Organised a meal here for 10 people. Went well, the food came out in good time and the service was friendly.
Great location, NOT disability friendly which was a question we asked while booking, 7 stairs to climb and NO ramps!!nNO door to the bathroom just to the toilet& shower, the security light shines in all night!nGood bed, microwave and small oven.
This motel is under new management and the owners are very keen to upgrade. We stayed because it was dog friendly.nThe restaurant is large with a space outside to eat. The food served is very generous and we were surprised at the amount and that old favourites were on the menu. The fish of the day was particularly delicious. The owners have an exciting opportunity to develop the restaurant into a place that travellers will want to stop at as there isn't much else in Turangi.
We needed a place to stay overnight on our drive from Wellington to Auckland. The rooms are clean but could do with a little love and care. The location is great. We walked into the centre and enjoyed a river walk. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. The price was very affordable. If the place was spruced up it would be fabulous.
