Had a great experience at Parklands Motor Lodge with my little family and 8 other family members. Reasonably cheap for an amazing experience. Staff were accommodating and were always helpful. Facilities were clean throughout the whole day, beds were amazing! My 3 year old thoroughly enjoyed her stay as lot of activities to do. Highly recommend for families with kids!
Nice spot. Clean facilities. Unfortunately we were given a powered site next to a permanent camper who was friendly, but took some of our space Number 15. So if you go there check for another number.
We booked a standard cabin, which was clean and comfortable. Not particularly noisy qnd well located. However it wasn't clearly mentioned on the Booking website that there would be shared toilets/bathrooms and no access to water in the cabin. It’s not what we were looking for. I checked again after our stay and I couldnt see it mentioned anywhere on Booking. Therefore we thought that the whole thing was expensive for what it was.
We stayed only on a nightly stop off. I had called to see if they offered late check ins and the person I spoke to was very kind and helpful. Communication was clear and I had what I needed right away. The room itself was clean and tidy. All amenities we needed. The heater and light were also left on for our late arrival. Great location into town. Grounds looked well maintained. Would definitely stay again while on a longer stop or just passing through. Thanks so much for your kindness
This is a great campsite close to SH1 and the town centre of Turangi with a subtle view on the mountains in the background. There is a New World nearby and a restaurant on site. Clean bathroom and laundry facilities next to a spacious kitchen. You can use the pool and playground provided. We paid 50$ for two people on an unpowered lawn site and even visited twice.
