The motel is fairly outdated, but very clean and the service is excellent.nnThe room showed quite a few signs of age. The paint was faded, there was a sheet of drywall attached to the wall. It was very clean. The bedding was mismatched but soft and the mattress was very comfortablennThe hot springs were a perfect temperature. I'm sure the water was clean, but because the walls of the pool were old and looked in disrepair, it made the whole pool look dirtynnThe facilities were clean but outdated. There was no curtain in the showernnThe WiFi was terrible, it dropped out frequently and often said no Internet even when I was connected. There isn't much phone signal either so download something to watch before you arrive.nnThe walls are pretty thin, so you can hear other people moving around, and there's no curtain over the frosted glass door so it let's the light in when the sun comes upnnThe service was excellent. The man at reception was polite and professional.nnOverall, I'd stay here again. I don't mind outdated facilities as long as it's clean and comfortable.
This might be a basic of accommodations but it packs in a lot of extras. There are 3 private mineral hot pools these were quite hot, and a larger mineral pool was nice and warm Open 24 hours to every day!! The bathrooms and the rooms really are basic but such great value for money. Awesome playground in a fenced central area. Check in was awesome....such a warm welcome when arriving late in the evening. This was just a place to sleep on our long journey but we wished we could've had longer there!!
We needed somewhere close to the mountains while we were off tramping and exploring, and Oasis was ideal for this. We stayed in a simple twin bed studio, which was just right for our needs. Comfortable beds, nice linen, and clean kitchenette and bathroom. Requested a last-minute change to the booking and the host accommodated that immediately, which was awesome. Recommended! I stayed in my car here last night and it was such a lovely experience. For $25, i think it's such good value for money. You get 24/7 access to geothermal hot pools and powered campsite for no extra cost, as well as all the usual amenities. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean. I usually stay at freedom camping places so this was a real luxury for me for a very reasonable price. really cant complain and cant see why others did. They even let me have a guest for a casual hourly rate. 100% would stay here again. The array of animals around was an extra lovely bonus.
I stayed in April and left my favourite togs on the radiator. I left the country the next day but messaged twice on an email I know they check and did not get any response on how to get them sent to my son in Auckland. I will happily change the review once someone gets in touch.nnEdit: I get a response to this review in 20 minutes - but still no response to the multiple emails I sent immediately after staying, and later. Respectful hotels have a lost property system where paying guests can recover items they left behind. So I guess the review remains as a warning for future guests that staying here means items accidentally left are gone forever.nnFurther edit:nChanging the review to 3 stars. It is my fault I left the shorts. Why I’m leaving the review as-is is because I tried to make contact multiple times and only got a response much later once I left a 1 star review. I’m making sure people know to be extra careful to check before leaving as once it’s left you can consider it gone - based on my experience.
