Service was pretty good although we reserved a table wasn't too packed mid-day. managed to find a park. Ordered dishes for table of 8, iced coffee, avo shake, the spring rolls, a banh mi, noodles soup, prawn summer rolls, savoury pancake, chicken sweet corn soup, shaking beef & tomato fried rice.nStand-outs were the lemon grass chicken & the caramelized chicken & ginger clay pot, which I would order again. Also would try other dishes
Beef ball noodle soup, the beef ball are not fresh.nSweet and sour pork, the pork has a very strong refrigerator smell.nFor noodles, bowel is big, but the portion of noodle is not much, overall disappointed with the quality of the food.
Whenever I visit Otahuhu, I can’t resist treating myself to the delicious Vietnamese food there. The Special Rice is a personal favorite of mine. The portion is just right and the lemongrass pork chop paired with the sweet sauce is a delightful combination with the rice. I highly recommend this place. It’s clean, the staff is super friendly and parking is a breeze.
Went to try out this place for my last week in New Zealand, and I was very excited since I’m all for Vietnamese cuisine. Yet, the food didn’t live up to the hype. We ordered two rice plates, and I was a bit disappointed with how small the portion was for the price. At least the service was okay.
Recommended to try this place as most authentic Vietnamese food in Auckland. Nice food, it taste just about right, not too salty, good portion, service is ok and place is clean.
