This restaurant has great ambiance and authentic Vietnamese food. We ordered beef pho and stir fry noodles and both are very tasty and delicious. I highly recommend this place. It is also very near to Fergusson park. Staffs are very kind and accommodating!
Always reliable, tasty and great service. A local staple : My only wee bit of feedback as a big Bahn mí fan is that I’d love the Bahn mí to be stepped up a little to how many other places do it, actual butter and duck pate would be fantastic, with some chopped chilli’s perhaps. It’s just a little on the plainer side than I like, I would get it weekly if they made these improvements as they would save me driving elsewhere for them. 5 stars regardless for their meat on rice meals!!
For lunch I always have the Pork on vermicelli. Great quality. Fresh. Topped with mint, shallots, and you can add garlic from the table. So good!!!nnShoot didnt think it could get better! Just had the spring rolls and banh mi - the best!!
I came here for an early dinner so I was the only one there. The menu is straight forward and I ordered a beef pho and the duck summer roll. Beef pho broth was light enough to not be overpowering but strong enough to have a good herby beefy flavour. Good balance as opposed to some pho in other places that taste like brown water. I put on the spicy chili sauce on the noodles and ate with a slice of their pickled garlic to get the spicy, sweet, garlicky flavour. So nice.nnThe duck summer roll was a big serving for me I was alone so I ended up taking some home to enjoy at a later time.nnWill go again for their other dishes when I come back to Auckland!
I love everything about this place. A small family run business that does really tasty and comforting vietnamese food. We eat here at least once every fortnight. Menu is pretty straightforward so you're not racking your brains trying to decide. Pretty quick with service as well and not too harsh on the pocket.nnRecommended dishes:nSummer rolls, Bahn mi, Vermicelli noodles, Chichi bunnnIf you're looking for satisfaction, go for it.
