Big tasty servings at really affordable prices!nOne of the best Phos tasted here in Auckland. Quicknservice too if you’re hungry and have few minutes to spare. I appreciate the complementary Jasmine tea and various sauces you can choose from at yourntable.
Hai Phong is a Chinese Vietnamese restaurant. Kinda a mix of Vietnamese cafe and Malaysian cafe and bbq duck cafe w/o bbq duck. I ordered their Vietnamese style Beef Noodle Soup $18.5.nnOrderingn+ Sit somewhere and staff brings menu to you.n+ You pay after your meal.nnPicking your autistic seatn+ This place is spacious and plenty of seats. Check my video.nnWater & Napkinsn+ Meal comes with tea. Also there’s self service water.n+ Napkins on the table.nnFood - 8.5/10n+ The portion is generous, a lot of meat.n+ I got misled by the dish’s name in Chinese. It says raw cooked meat on the menu. Actually It’s more like fully cooked braised beef. I should’ve ordered the raw beef one. Edit: Actually it does look like a bit raw in my photo, smh it doesn’t taste that way.n+ Tastes wise it’s okay. A bit light Vietnamese flavour but you could always add more sriracha and hoisin to the soup.nnService - 9/10nnOverall I will give this restaurant 4 stars .
Needed a quick cheap dinner and didn’t disappoint. We ordered sat down and had our food in less than 15 minutes.nnThe broth in the beef pho and beef ball soup was seasoned really well no need for extra soy/fish sauce.nnThe spring rolls were gluten free which my partner appreciated.nnVibe was good heaps of people and really clean.nnPortions were massive for the price it was great made my Sunday.
Hidden Gem Worth VisitingnnThis is one of those restaurants we always enjoy coming back to. The food here is really worth it — both in taste and price.nnTheir lemongrass chicken is a standout. It’s moist, full of flavor, and seasoned just right. The broth they serve is rich and comforting.
I had the raw beef pho it was absolutely amazing. Huge portion and complimentary spices on the table side to mix things up. The staff had friendly service and I have already started recommending to friends and family. Thank you for running such a great place.
