I’ve been meaning to try Banh Mi from the Banh Mi Boy outlet for a while now, but due to my shift timings and other commitments, I couldn’t. Finally got to try them out, and I can confirm that their Banh Mi is the bomb! Filled with flavor, the pâté paired with the stuffed veggies and meat complements the roll perfectly. Love it! I opted for the spicy option, and I could handle the heat. I’d probably try the next level of spice on their menu, ‘Take Me to the Hospital,’ next time
Came here for the first time with high expectations and wasn’t let down. The ingredients are all fresh and delicious. The bread is phenomenal and they’ve got the right balance of ingredients. I ordered the beef and the crispy pork. Both were delicious and had generous portions. They are a family owned business with extremely friendly and helpful service. Their ice coffee hits the spot. Will be back here for sure!!!
Very good! The best in town. The sad is only has this one in Mangere. I drive from Henderson to here to try. It deserves the travel. If you want to try different protein, definitely come earlier. I come today 12noon, it has already sold out 3 tastes. The signature one is amazing! And also the Thai tea is quite good! combo is cheaper.
Wow guys. I managed to get in early enough to try the pork belly banh mi. And it was outstanding. Definitely the best I've had in nz hands down. Nothing comes close. Patè very tasty and smooth, mayo delish, pork belly perfect. Full of meat and yummy pickled carrot to compliment. I would have liked more coriander but I'll ask for extra next time. Definitely be back to try more. Oh and I almost forgot the garlic bread. Oh man fire, too good guys. We'll done.
Edit: Vietnamese? Why bring race into this. I’m here to review food and if I had anything nice to say I would. I just let the food do the talking. It didn’t live in up to the hype. Better luck next time.nnBanh Mi was bland as hell. Roast pork Banh Mi was some cold Nem Nuong, roasted hours ago. Unimpressed. Mayo overpowered everything and Banh mi was wet as a result. Barely any filling, look at the meat ratio. Wont be back.
