The room was fine. Bathroom drain was dirty/stained and the toilet seats weren’t soft closing. Heated floor was lovely. Enjoyed the fragrance of Ashley&Co handwashing liquid. The coffee and tea facilities were basic but the welcome biscuits and bottled water were a nice touch.nThe gym was adequate. The pool is heated but didn’t get a chance to use it. There are no towels by the pool.nThe breakfast was fine, had all the standard offerings but the wait is long because of their process. Cut-up fruits were not always the freshest but there are whole fruits which tend to be better. You can request the chef to cook eggs to your liking if you don’t want to have scrambled eggs that’s on offer. Sadly, the seeds and nuts were stale too nIf you want something from housekeeping or reception, they charge you a $5 delivery fee which I’ve never experienced.nOverall, I would recommend it but don’t expect too much.

We stayed one night in March during a 3 week road trip around NZ. We were greeted on arrival by a delightful receptionist called Trinity who was very helpful and friendly. The hotel room was clean and tidy with a comfy bed and a lovely big bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle all very nicely presented. Our room had a balcony over the water which was nice but there is a large busy road bridge quite close by. Ample parking on site. Great location within walking distance of the town and a pleasant walk along the seafront.

We had our wedding at Trinity Wharf in March 2026 and we cant thank them enough for everything. We hired the penthouse for the ceremony and it was a perfect venue, the team were amazing in setting it up and then later packing it down again and the food and drinks were also top notch! A massive thank you too to Leah and the events team who helped us in organising the wedding, took us through a tour of the venue and was always there in the lead up to the day to answer any questions we had and helped make the day very special. Also to the Rooms and Sales team who helped to book rooms for our family to stay in and were also super helpful. We cannot thank everyone enough for all their hard work and for helping make our wedding day so special!

Thank you for our 3 day stay.nRoom, elevators and hallways were clean.nWe loved our view of the Harbour.nIt was very peaceful and relaxing.nReceptionist staff were very kind and polite.nThe staff members at Trinity restaurant were very friendly and hospitable.nRoom cleaners were kind and helpful.nOverall our stay was amazing.

Thank you for hosting us on our wedding night. The suite itself was beautiful, with stunning waterfront views, and we were excited to celebrate such a special occasion at your hotel.nnUnfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the accommodation. From a cold check-in experience after arriving from our wedding reception, to a lack of assistance with luggage and a few small details being overlooked, we felt that hospitality was missing throughout our stay. On more than one occasion, interactions with staff felt abrupt rather than welcoming.nnI’m not upset, just disappointed. The room was lovely, but great service is what creates returning guests. With a friendlier and more attentive front desk team, choosing to stay here again when we’re next in Tauranga would be an easy decision.
