We booked a stay expecting a 4-star experience, but instead, we were forced to leave due to the hotel’s poor management, dishonesty, and rude staff.nnWhen we arrived, we were informed that due to a wedding event, we would not be able to use the dinner facilities, which was an important part of our stay. The front desk admitted fault and promised a full refund, so we immediately booked and paid for another hotel. However, when we later asked for written confirmation so Booking.com could process our refund, they refused to provide it, claiming the hotel manager was “away.”nnTo make matters worse, the female front desk staff short, wore glasses, with a strong South American accent was extremely rude and unprofessional. She even admitted it was the hotel’s fault, saying, “I know it’s my fault, but I can’t guarantee your situation.” Despite acknowledging the issue, she still refused to help properly. Instead of assisting us, she had a horrible attitude and made everything more difficult. On top of that, we had to wait 2.5 hours just to get a response from the manager, wasting even more of our time.nnThis is completely unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. They made a promise, caused us extra expenses, wasted our time, and then refused to take responsibility. If this is how they treat guests, I highly recommend staying elsewhere. I will be escalating this complaint to Booking.com and my credit card provider.nnDo yourself a favor and avoid Trinity Wharf Tauranga if you expect honesty, good service, or even basic customer respect.

Dined in the restaurant. The food was lovely but the service was dreadful. Ordered drinks when we ordered food as, after being seated, the staff did not cone back to us. When we eventually got our food we had all finished our meals when I asked again where our drinks were. The restaurant was not full but the young man serving us seemed to forget us. The women serving seemed to be the ones that finally got it sorted.

Such a lovely place to stay. Lovely staff, especially Jacob in the dining room, lovely location, room, bed, bathroom, restaurant, pool, everything.nThe only downer is- don't flush the toilet while someone is in the shower or they will get hotter than expected.nOtherwise, just lovely!

This is the third time we’ve stayed and had fantastic service every time . We have to come to Tauranga for medical treatment and so far the staff have been extremely helpful organising a wheel chair at very short notice and helping us to get to our room they go way beyond with their help!! We had room service - meals were delivered to our room which had fantastic views the meals were still nice and hot, and the buffet breakfast we went to was absolutely amazing!! Will definitely stay again when we have to come back for medical reasons!!

I liked my room with heated floors and nice bath..! But I really disliked the view of my room because there was no view at all! !! Plus super cold swimming pool and bad sound proof walls because we can constantly hear people walking& talking outside...! Overall I think was a 4 star Motel experience!
