Trinity Wharf Tauranga

Upon arrival we had high hopes. The location and lobby and bar area were very appealing. We were a little let down by the reception staff, whilst efficient their demeanour was somewhat cool, not welcoming. We looked forward to getting to our room. Again disappointed, it was very tired. The furniture was well worn and the carpet was threadbare. The second bedroom had no wardrobe. Also the facilities were lacking, a toaster would have been nice to have, however the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. The next morning we went down for breakfast and the people there were not welcoming. Most of the staff there seemed very unhappy and did not appear to want to provide an uplifting form of service. However there was some good news, the young man working at the coffee station was exceptional and helpful as was the guy who was heading the staff. Both people worked hard to make the place function and to make our experience good. The check out process was 100 percent better than the check in experience. The reception staff were bright and helpful. Overall we rate our stay at 3 stars. On our next visit to Tauranga we will not be staying at Trinity Wharf.

A little underwhelmed with the rooms considering the price. View was awesome but that's it. The apartment was just okay. Air-conditioning units are so old they were almost impossible to use. Don't bother paying for the buffet breakfast, cheaper to go somewhere else and the food will be better

Lovely hotel with beautiful views over the Tauranga harbour. Great service and delicious meals. Only stayed one night but enjoyed every minute. Comfortable bed and well-appointed room. Buffet breakfast was wonderful. Everything you need is at the hotel. Once checked in, there is no need to go anywhere.

Harbor view room was great - upscale bathroom a plus! Location on the water is nice. We walked to downtown each of our three days & enjoyed it.nnWe ate dinner one night, fair meal; limited menu IMHO.nnOverall wonderful place!

A nice hotel right on the wharf. A good location with relaxing walk along the water to the town centre. The on-site restaurant with amazing waterfront view and great food. The outdoor swimming pool is nice to look at the water as well. Highly recommended if you are traveling to the area.
