Quest on Durham

Absolutely unbelievable. We booked a room for three people for one night, and when we arrived, they handed us a one‑bedroom with a king bed and a couch for the third person. The best part? They tried to charge an extra $25 for the couch on the spot. Can you believe that?

Leo and Jenny took great care of us. We were very Central to the city with great eating restaurants in town. Breakfast is plentiful and extremely nice. The place was clean and the views were amazing. We loved our stay and highly recommend a stay, and would come back.

While there may so negative reviews about the accommodation, I was of the opposite opinion.nThe room was ideal and perfectly set up. The only issue was the TV wasn't connecting but it wasn't a deal breaker.nI had forgotten a personal item and I had contacted the accommodation directly.nThe accommodation were more than the 5 stars, they were outstanding. Especially given the item I had left behind and needed it shipped to me.

The location is just a walk down the road to the strand or a 5min drive to Paknsave. If you're there for work, you can chargeback to the room at a few of the restaurants. The carpark is tricky to navigate so goodluck for those who travel in a large van or SUV. Now the room. It's extremely spacious but that's about it. My bottle was in the fridge all day and it didnt cool at all. So I wasn't even going to try the milk. The shower was broken. It was either extremely hot or freezing cold. Meaning I had to shower outside of the water stream so not to scold myself. Navigating this 30min before check out was a pain in the backside. The bed and sofa werent very comfy either.nnThe service was nice when they were there. Otherwise make sure you have your phone on you as you'll likely have to phone the duty manager whenever you need something at the front desk. It's not always physically attended

Booked a room room 16 for a romantic night with my wife. You can't pick a specific room, you are given a random room. The Spa bath we were supposed to have was out of order. When you open the window you look into a big white wall of plastic covering for the building works next door. Shared balcony with about 10 other rooms, so no outside privacy. The TV needs an upgrade - you can hardly see - picture quality is very bad.The aircon is way too small for the size of the room. No upgrades or other rooms available, but the friendly lady at reception offered a $45 discount for our inconvenience.nThe night was already spoiled though with the spa not working.nVery dissapointing. Highly unlikely to book here again.
