Quest on Durham

The location is just a walk down the road to the strand or a 5min drive to Paknsave. If you're there for work, you can chargeback to the room at a few of the restaurants. The carpark is tricky to navigate so goodluck for those who travel in a large van or SUV. Now the room. It's extremely spacious but that's about it. My bottle was in the fridge all day and it didnt cool at all. So I wasn't even going to try the milk. The shower was broken. It was either extremely hot or freezing cold. Meaning I had to shower outside of the water stream so not to scold myself. Navigating this 30min before check out was a pain in the backside. The bed and sofa werent very comfy either.nnThe service was nice when they were there. Otherwise make sure you have your phone on you as you'll likely have to phone the duty manager whenever you need something at the front desk. It's not always physically attended

Very handy location centre of tauranga and the mount. They were very kind and let us check in earlier and the bed was amazing. Rooms must be sound proof because it was so quite even with construction across the road. Affordable price and very clean.

The Quest gave us probably one of the worse rooms because I book via booking.com. Still paid $195 for one night. Room 138. Arrived 3pm, room service still cleaning room. Only 1 towel and face cloth for x2 people. Room NO view, only construction 2 meters from window. 4 tea and coffee packets, x3 mini milks. Lights blown. Mold in bathroom. No bathroom supply's like shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. Ripped sofa. On a positive bed was nice and rooms large. I WOULD AVOID THIS PLACE. Not to standard, should be consider 1 or 2 stars.

I went up with my family and we got put in a room where the carpet was filthy, the beds were cheap mattresses... and we were meant to be in a room with a spa bath... there wasn't one...nThe night manager was alright, he did a good job of being on call when we needed something.nBut I don't think I'd be staying here again or recommending it to others.

Greeted with a friendly smile and easy check in and parking underneath.nnThe room I was in was super spacious, and made it not feel like a hotel room. Nice addition to be able to close off the bedroom.nWith the time I had I didn’t get to use it but a nice balcony that would be great for a wine at the end of the day.nnEverything was clean and tidy and no issues.
