What a treasure! A neighbour told me about Tower when I said I hadn’t yet found GOOD bread. I just enjoyed a delicious pain d’apple with just the right flaky-to-sweetness ratio. As well as an Americano tat hit the spot. I have a freshly baked loaf of sourdough in my carry bag so fingers crossed it tastes as good as it smells. It’s a gift to be able to chat with the people who literally bake our bread. I’ll be back often. Now if we could just move some of these parking spaces and have a ‘streatery…’
Absolutely fabulous selection of bready delights! The selection is fantastic and all deliciously fresh with some very unique treats amongst the classic bakery favourites. Rhubarb custard muffins and ham, cheese, paprika croissant are a favourite of mine!
Tony makes absolutely the best bread. He is a real character and is an iconic figure in the community. Have been visiting here for years and it is always a pleasure.
Delicious, fluffy croissants! One of the best in Auckland. Lovely owner. Thanks so much for the free extra croissant; it made my day :
Lovely pastries especially the Apple turnovers. Be early to prevent disappointment Highly recommended.
Pastries are really delicious! Coffee can be great or average, depending on who is making it. If Yuki is making the coffee you are in for probably the best cup in the Eastern Subarbs!
Beast bakery in Auckland! I go there at least twice a week and Tony & Yuki are the only ones I found so far baking bread and pastries that remind me of France! Go there, you can’t mistake!
Tony is the best baker in the area. Wonderful bagels. Croissants can be a bit bready. But overall wonderful. Can be a queue when busy.
Fantastic! If I could give them 6 stars I would! Great service, fantastic selection of goodies and reasonable prices!
Delicious pastries! Makes me feel like I'm back in Europe. I'd highly recommend.
