Ed's Cake and Coffee House

So much to say about this gem of a place. Honestly the lovelies people I know, so kind and loving. They make everything from the scratch, it would make their life so much busier but it’s their work ethic to provide everything so fresh and genuine. Best pecan tarts honestly, they do small bite sizes to bigger sized ones. Their sandwiches and pies are so yummy and fresh. Their choc cakes are the best, my colleague from north shore went all the way to get the same one after she tasted the cake. Get some genuine treats from genuine people. You will not regret.

Besides the infamous die die must try pork belly pie, their dessert eg: cheesecake, carrot cake... is also very nice, if you went to their shop and the pork belly pie has run out for the day which they oftenly are, you can try out their dessert. Yum =

They make everything from scratch - which you can see and taste. Such a lovely cafe! Highly recommend everyone to go.

Such lovely service and the food!!! I got a mince and cheese and a sausage roll for my.husband and he said they were amazing. My chicken and sweetcorn pie was nearly as good as the salmon quiche nothing beats a good salmon quiche. But the chocolate eclairs! I'm going to have dreams about when I can have them again! Thank you so much, I've been wanting to try your food for a while and it has lived up to my expectations and more!

The owners of this cafe are beautiful people. I bought a coffee from them and the owner gave me free bread. He said because they were closing at 3 on Saturday. But too me it was such a sweet gesture. Great service from owners. Their sour dough baguette which I got for free was yummy with poached eggs for dinner. Thank you for my free bread. I'll definitely be trying out the rest of your food..

Did try their five spice pork bellywhich is gold award 2018, mince and cheese, steak and cheese. SUPER delicious!!!Ever better than the others pies I tried in south island. Especially I like their crunchy, golden crust and tasty fillings combination. Their coffee and cakes are also good. Good place to have an awesome afternoon tea.

One of my favorite bakeries in Auckland. Discovered it a year ago by it's award winning pork belly pie. The owner was super friendly and hospitable when we arrived. The pies were delish and coffee was amazing. Needless to say we put Ed's as one of the first stop on out itinerary this year. Everything is still as good as I remember it!

The service here is absolutely excellent. So polite, so friendly, and went the extra mile to get me the food I wanted. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
