I tried the deep fried squid, hot and sour soup and crispy roast pork on rice. I ordered too much, all was very tasty, the pork wasn't as crispy as hoped, restaurant very busy, need to possibly book a table, staff are so busy not time to personalize with anyone, good portions, decent prices, will definitely be back.Food: 5/5

A very pleasant experience on the 1st day of Christmas. One of the few opened restaurants on the 25th of December. Despite adding 15% surcharge, which is fair for working during Christmas, the food was top notch. The stuffed eggplant made my wife almost tear up due to pure joy during eating. The Kung Pao chicken wasn't exactly what I was used to, but this one was probably.prw authentic than I've eaten back at home. Also the dumplings were close to perfect. Sitting at the window and watching people added some entertainment while eating. Almost like watching TV. Would definitely come again when visiting Wellington next time. Merry Christmas.

Great authentic Chinese food. Taste is good. Volume is good. Price is reasonable. What else can I ask for? Maybe a heart warming smile on staff’s face? Haha. My son loved the Mapo tofu. Said it’s on his all time top 3 list.

Yesterday me and my family went to dine at this place to celebrate my niece birthday. Both me and my older sister got food poisoning from here. Not happy about this. It not a hateful comment towards the staff, because everyone was so friendly and very good at customer service. Also the price for food is very cheap. But it something to be aware off so it won’t happen again. Have a great day

Need to hire more stuff. Three times now that they’ve delivered our meal and forgot to bring the rice it comes with. Only brought the rice out once we asked them after about 10 mins of the food already out sitting on our table. By then the food was pretty cold and average. They used to have a young guy working there who knew good English and was very speedy and good. Since he’s left service has been not as good anymore.

Despite being tiny, this place was completely packed with diners. The warm scent of soy sauce and sizzling noodles greets you when you open the door and whets your appetite. Do yourself a favour; skip the staple fried rice and roast pork, and go for the more exotic dishes offered. The back of the menu has a selection of house specials; se picked the beef tendon stew and homemade tofu, which were absolutely delectable. The stew was spicy and rich, packed with chunks of tendon that melt in your mouth. The tofu was just as enjoyable, with smooth tofu inside a delicious braised exterior. Both dishes came in generous portions.

Hainan chicken, rice, soup and chilli yummy and great value at $19 Nice friendly staff and fast service!
