We cater for schools sports clubs and events. We are 100% new Zealand owned and operated. All our stores are open 7 days a week.

Ambience - down to earth, fishy smell of course. We had the food takeaway. Variety of seafood quite limited. Taste n price - good.
Been a Toby's customer 10+ years and have slightly liked their food as they are a little bit more quality than the local Chinese take-aways. Today I ordered 2 fish burgers, 2 pieces battered snapper, chips and 1300gr live mussels. Their fish was less than half the size of the bun on both burgers. Both fish were still greasy, over oily. Mussels the skinniest in years. Complete rip off! Their phone is never answered to make an order or complain. Todays order came to $35. You are charging top prices but not reflecting it in quality. Pick your standard up Toby's! For the sake of your loyal and everyday customers'.
I was really looking forward to some good fish n chips sadly that was not the case at all..Was so oily from the chips to the fish just absolutely drenched, used the paper and tried squashing some oil out but was so bad it still over powered the taste of everything. However the customer service was lovely even though they were super busy! Just wished it followed through to the food
Spent $72 bought meal deals number 8 and 7 and extra $5 chips, also tub of oyster and mussles and a bag of fry bread, sheesh barely any chips, more wrapping paper than the food. Not recommended if you going to spend over $40-50 for a family feed better to buy food from next door get your moneys worth...Food: 1/5

It's a very busy place everyday. Fresh sea food such as: Muscles with the shell or in a container along with Kina etc. As u see in the photo it's a must to buy, Snapper, with Chips, Eggs, Salad and Lemon. Oh and the star of everyday Fried Bread Yummy. Service is great, friendly and the environment is clean.
The raw fish here and the fried bread is soo good here tried the otai as well m quite enjoyed that. .don't get thrown off if there's a que as they work through it quickly and the customer service is great looking forward to going back againFood: 5/5
Been so long since Covid, but returning today and we are not disappointed! Toby's delicious food, amazing girl's customer service at the counter and lovely clean environment! Loving the music here too! Two snapper meals, 8 mussels, for the 2 of us, we are full! Absolutely worth the little drive to Otahuhu, thank you for our Sunday dinner Toby's Otahuhu, so worth it!!!!
Rather overwhelming smell of fish on entry. Lots of fish and bagged mussels on ice. Fish and chips plus containers of raw fish, mussels and smoked fish available to buy. Fried bread also available to purchase. Located immediately next to a busy petrol station so parking is plenty but busy.
The Toby’s Seafood place is the best in south Auckland. That’s why it’s the busiest shop too. The fish is fresh and they do the best fish and chips in Auckland.
