Story

Kia Ora and welcome
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and let you know a bit about my wife Indy and myself.
Indy and I have run numerous businesses over the past 40 years and consider ourselves seasoned entrepreneurs. We come with a wealth of experience and are confident in our ability to build up a business. Our last Business was Central Seafoods Fish and Chips located at 530 Pollen Street, Thames 3500, New Zealand. We ran this business from September 2013 - March 2017 in which time we increased the turnover significantly and gained the trust and respect of the local community, which we are very proud of.
For us our business concept is simple. Present quality food with great service. This created a loyal following and we really enjoyed getting to know the locals. We had the ability to change the product offering from Japanese foods/fish and chips to solely fish and chips. We also reduced our operating hours from 72 to 40-50 hours whilst still increasing the turnover.
The proof in the pudding would have to be in the recommendations & 5 Star ratings we got on TripAdvisor. This was further acknowledged through receipt of the Certificate of Excellence award 2017 from Trip Advisor.
This just blew us away and gave us the encouragement to try even harder. We also had a 4.9 rating on Facebook. The townspeople were very sad when we left Thames. Due to family reasons we had to move back to Auckland. We have been looking for a suitable business for the last 4 months and are eager to start afresh. Our family and friends all live in Auckland, I was born and raised in Auckland and am keen to reset up close to my children and grandchildren who all reside in this fantastic City of Sails.
