By far the best fish and chips I've had so far during my time in NZ as a takeaway. Based on the quality and freshness of the fish, crispiness of the chips, seasoning and the team provided us with free sauces! I recommend Oceanz!
Lovely little fish n chip shop with a cozy atmosphere. I think the friendly staff is what makes this place truly awesome
Possibly the best fish and chips place in Auckland. The fish is so fresh and crispy all the time. The prawn and squid is also so delicious, recommended with cold beer. The food is close to Greek Island standards. My favourite seafood spot in Auckland.

Nice, large menu range, very well positioned to be close to one of the most popular beaches in not only Auckland but New Zealand. While the shop is a tad small it has all the necessaries, fish, drink, and chips. I would recommend going here for a nice lunch before a trip to the beach.
Awesome and fine quality fish as well. Cheap as well worth your money... I would highly recommend this place. It's the first time I've ever been there. Honest staff helpful as well. Love the environment and the view as well... Right across from the Beach.. Its always made nice and fresh as well..
Had fish and chips today but quite disappointed with texture of the batter. Where is the crispness and the crunch which is a prerequisite of a great fish and chips.. also needs a bit more of seasoning..maybe lemon pepper with salt??
Had lunch here and for only $13 had the Fish and chips served as in the attached photo, beautifully cooked and service was good. Parking is difficult on the main road but side roads close by offer a good option. i will visit here again.
