Heard good things about the fish and chips here. However didn't have a good experience. Fish was very dark coloured seems old, the squid rings may aswell have been eating rubber in a tone on batter . . The only good thing was the batter was crunchy and good.
The food is good but the portion sizes vary quite a lot depending on the day, hence making it hard for me to know how much to order. The photo is of: - 1 x Andrew’s combo 1 fish, half chips, 4 nuggets - 2 x snapper
Standard and taste of food have definitely dropped from what they used to be. In the most recent visit, the fish and chips were soggy and oily and so unpleasant. I would not visit again.
I'm not normally a fan of seafood but I love the fish and chips from here. Fish is fresh with a light crispy coating unlike other places where the batter is thick and greasy. The chips need a bit more salt on them but overall a good place to go to get a fish and chip fix.
Always the freshest seafood and variety fresh or frozen. I always get salmon shashimi and prawns. My Mum gets 2 snapper n chips Fish n chips is good,but hot dogs taste sour. Need oil needed changing regularly for better taste But over all 4¾ /5
I ordered online for 5.45pm arriving a couple of minutes early. There were two notices saying orders to wait outside which I did........for 10 minutes. Finally I went inside to find my order waiting for me. Nobody working in the shop had come to inform me. No apologies were forthcoming. I shall go back to my usual takeaway. The food was certainly no better than average either.
Insanely delicious take out! Seriously the most decadent battered snapper I've ever eaten!! Never disappoints. The shop is clean, staff are always smiling, and the selection of fresh seafood is amazing!
Make an order over the phone everything was good. Went inside to collect my order the Chinese lady who was at the counter didn’t get my order right. So when I told her what I order on the phone and the order the gave it to me is wrong. She start yelling at me with no apologies that she placed the wrong order. With her voice the whole store can hear it. So so so so rude I left the store. I told her not to yell at me again. Never gonna visit this place again WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Krs and I picked up some fresh fish, and fish n chips for lunch. Very friendly place and the service is great. It is so clean that it seems unreal, particularly when fresh seafood of all sorts are sold here.
What a shocking meal, requested and paid for snapper and was not given snapper by something else, suppose to be crumbed but don't know what was on the fish we got and to top it all, the fish still had Scales on it, not cleaned properly. I've never had an issue with Oceanz before but this was not good and I certainly won't be going back!! Most of it went on the bin.1/10 for the chips
