Timezone Newmarket is one of the best place to have kids birthday parties. We are so lucky to have Neve, who is our birthday party host to help us set things up. She showed all the boys all the facilities and organised them to play the games on site. The birthday room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. All you need to prepare is to bring your own food and birthday cake! They also write a very sweet birthday card to my boy! We highly recommend everyone to consider Timezone Newmarket if you wish to have a perfect birthday party! We will be back for the kids next party!
Their top up kiosk took my money but never topped up the card so spent time with the manager trying to sort that out. Once we finally got our card topped up, we wasted money on one of the water gun games where the staff had not filled up the water for the game to begin so we could not even play that. Overall Ive been to way better timezones around Auckland with better experiences and games so would recommend going to another timezone than this one.
I was there last weekend and visited the Newmarket Timezone branch after such a long time! I came across this staff member, Rea. I wanted to try the NBA game but wasn’t sure if I’d be good at it, she suggested I challenge her and if I win she would give me a free game. I’m sure she purposely lost to make me feel better. She gave me the free game and I decided to buy a 30min timeplay package just to play more and beat her fair and square. Here’s her score after a fair challenge: I couldn’t beat her ahaha. Such a good time tho, definitely coming in for a second round to try and catch her on her shift and beat her fair and square.
One of the last remaining arcades, 2 stories, wide variety of games for all ages, offers birthday parties and events, toilet on site, laser tag. No on site parking but you can use the nearby Westfield. Can be a little pricey so set your budget before you go in.
I love going to timezone, the games are very universal and can be played by people of alllll ages. It’s my family’s favourite birthday spot, my nephew loved playing the games against the staff. He played against Emma, she was so funny and my nephew had a lot of fun!
